Abstract

This collection contains 125 artworks, the majority created by alumni and former students, ranging from 1952-2025. Five primary formats are represented: paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, and mixed media/other. The collection reflects the diverse talents of contemporary artists, alumni, and faculty, with artwork ranging from traditional studies to conceptual experiences, while highlighting the excellence of former students.

Scope and Contents

This collection contains 70 paintings ranging 1952-2025. The artwork has been split into two sub-series: alumni and other. The majority of the paintings are created by LCAD alumni and demonstrate the excellence of students. Many other paintings are provided by artists based in Laguna Beach and other areas of Southern California, illustrating the influence the arts have on the region.
